Our Faith

We believe in the verbal inspiration of the original manuscripts which are therefore infallible and inerrant. We believe that the Bible is the all-sufficient rule of faith and practice for believers.

We believe in the Holy Trinity: God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit, all equally divine.

We believe in the Genesis account of Creation.

We believe that Satan is a fallen angel and the god of this world, and that his destiny is the eternal lake of fire.

We believe in the virgin birth and sinless life of Jesus Christ. We believe in His absolute deity.

We believe the Holy Spirit is the agent through which the Godhead works in the hearts and minds of people. He convicts those who are outside of the promises of God - those promises reserved for those who love Him - to repent of their sin and turn to God. He regenerates those who do so, and makes them to be spiritually alive. The Holy Spirit indwells the believer, empowering him to overcome sin and live for God.

We believe that Man was created in the image of God, that Adam was created innocent, and that he fell from his sinless condition by exercising his own will over and against God’s. We believe that as a result of Adam’s sin, all mankind stands guilty before God.

We believe that the suffering and death of Jesus Christ was substitutionary for all mankind, and is efficacious to those who believe, that by His death, our sins are dealt with: the penalty is paid in full and the forgiveness of God poured out upon us.

We believe in the bodily resurrection and ascension of Jesus Christ, and in the Day of God's appointing, the bodily resurrection of all believers of all ages.

We believe in the Rapture - the pretribulational, premillennial, personal and bodily return of Jesus Christ to the earth. We believe in the triumphant return of Jesus Christ to the earth, and in His 1000 year reign over His Kingdom established thereon.

We believe that man is, by nature, a sinner, and that he is saved wholly by God’s grace. We believe that God requires repentance of sin and faith in the Lord Jesus Christ as man's response to that grace. We believe that all who trust Jesus Christ for salvation are eternally secure in that salvation: that they are born again into His family, never to be un-born.

We believe that Jesus Christ is building His Church, and that it is a local, visible assembly of scripturally baptized believers. We believe that each Church is an independent and self-governing body. We believe that there are two ordinances in the Church of which Jesus Christ is the Head: believer's baptism and the Lord's Supper.

We believe that there are two appointed offices in a church: pastors and deacons, and that the qualifications are set forth in Titus and 1 Timothy.
